Principal's Message:

It's almost time, Eagles!   As we eagerly approach the start of the 2025-2026 school year, we extend a warm welcome to all our students at Creekland Middle School!

It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the Principal of Creekland Middle School. This year we are excited to launch “Away for the day” to help our students be able to disconnect from technology and focus on teaching and learning. We have been sharing the details of this plan via parent square all summer.

We are also excited  to let you know that we have added two connections this year. One is strings in which your child can learn to play guitar and the other is Intro to business technology. We have added these programs in order to provide more opportunities for students to explore their interests. Once we have our first I ready assessment, we will use that data to determine students that will need additional support in reading and Math. We will be contacting students and families in late August to sign up for these connections based on student needs. The goal is to ensure that we have remediation and enrichment opportunities for all students in our building beginning in September. 

We have added staff members this year who bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for educating middle school students. Ms. Kimberly Lester has joined the admin team and will be supporting 8th grade students this year. We also have added new counselors and teachers to the team. Come out to open house and meet this outstanding team that will be supporting your students this year.
